Dr. Shelley Kemp, Ed.D., SHRM-SCP is a nationally respected leadership coach, HR strategist, and author of The PIVOT Principle: When Changing Direction Happens, in bookstores now. With a career spanning professional sports, higher education, and transportation, Dr. Kemp is known for helping women and organizations navigate change with clarity, purpose, and peace.

A Certified Mindfulness Trainer and former HR Business Partner for the Memphis Grizzlies, Shelley brings a dynamic blend of real-world wisdom and spiritual insight to every stage she steps on. Her career journey—from award-winning Lady Footlocker manager to NBA executive, to transformational speaker—reflects the very message she shares: it’s never too late to pivot into your purpose.

She is the founder and CEO of Pivot Well, LLC, a digital and personal consulting firm that equips high-achieving women and workplace leaders with the tools, routines, and mindset to navigate change with clarity, courage, and calm. Her coaching, keynote messages, and mindfulness tools have inspired thousands to realign with what matters and courageously embrace life’s next move.

Shelley lives just outside Memphis in Bartlett, TN, with her husband Andre and their son, Anthony.
