When you claim a discount code for a certification course, we share your contact information (name, email, phone number, and course interest) with our certification training partner, Duvoll Education, so they can provide you with the discount code and course registration information.

4.3 With Event Sponsors

When you register for a sponsored event, we may share attendee information (such as name and company) with event sponsors as part of the sponsorship benefits. This information is shared only for attendees of specific sponsored events and is not shared broadly with all sponsors.

4.4 With Payment Processors

When you register for paid events or services, you will be redirected to a third-party payment processor to complete your transaction. We do not collect or store payment information (such as credit card numbers) on our Site. Payment information is collected and processed directly by the third-party payment processor in accordance with their privacy policies.

4.5 For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (such as a court order or subpoena), or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PMI Memphis, our users, or the public.

Please note that even if you opt out of marketing emails, you will still receive transactional emails related to your registrations or requests.

6. SMS/TEXT MESSAGING

6.1 SMS Opt-In

By providing your phone number and opting in to SMS communications, you consent to receive text messages from PMI Memphis. SMS messages may include:

6.2 SMS Frequency and Charges

  • Message Frequency: Up to 4 messages per month during peak periods; typically 0-2 messages per month

  • Carrier Liability: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6.3 SMS Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any SMS message you receive from us

  • Contacting us at board@901pmi.org with your request

After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and then no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
