Veterans Project your life into the future!

A special “THANK YOU” to all of our service members and veterans. We understand, and appreciate, the sacrifices that military members and veterans make in service to our nation. PMI is committed to doing all we can to support and assist service members and veterans interested in the Project Management profession.
For this reason, the PMI Memphis Chapter has created a volunteer military liaison position. That role is focused solely on providing support, outreach, and other forms of assistance to military members and veterans who are Chapter members, considering becoming Chapter members, or joining the Project Management profession in general. While the position is relatively new, we are working diligently to expand the scope of support we are able to provide.
As Director, Military Relations, on behalf of the PMI Memphis Chapter, I am honored to be your primary point of entry for questions, requests, and feedback for military and veteran programs. Many of the Chapter’s members have served. We have a diverse core of experience that can assist you in achieving your project management goals, whatever they may be. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with your questions, requests, and especially your feedback on how we can improve our outreach services.

The PMI Memphis Chapter recently attended the Project Management Institute Global Summit and Leadership Institute Meeting in Los Angeles, CA, where over 4,200 project management professionals from around the world gathered to share insights and drive the future of project management.
Our Memphis team took the stage to deliver an impactful presentation on the construction industry, highlighting emerging trends and best practices that will shape the field in years to come.
A special thanks to PMI Memphis President Tamara Brown, PMP, CAL, CSM, Military & Construction Program Ambassador Earnest Evans and VP of Marketing Erik Henneghan for their leadership and representing the PMI Memphis Chapter well.

PMI Construction Professional
(PMI-CP) Ready in 2024
PMI Memphis is posturing to launch a PMI CP Program Initiative, in partnership with local government, construction industry and military professionals. This multi-faceted initiative will include PMI Global CP and PMI Government Business sponsored informational sessions beginning with an in-person roundtable discussion in March 2024. Planned follow-on in-depth professional development (PD) will prepare PMI Memphis to facilitate and grow the CP Program with our local area partners.
PMI-CP Certification covers the domains of contracts management, stakeholder management, strategy and scope management, and project governance, certifies professionals in the construction and built environment industry.
Value Earners of the PMI-CP have demonstrated skills and knowledge they need to transform the global construction industry and bring large, complex projects to life. Education Requirements None
