Dr. Rochelle Adkins,

Dr. Rochelle Atkins is an accomplished Executive Coach, Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychologist and senior faculty member with Human Capital Institute (HCI). She is also the founder of Atkins Leadership Collaborative, LLC – a boutique coaching and consulting business. Dr. Atkins has over 25 years of experience in people building and organizational development. As a former executive responsible for co-founding a multi-million-dollar start-up non-profit organization, Dr. Atkins has successfully led and implemented change management programs for the continual growth of various organizations. She is adept in creating strategies for greater alignment of leadership with organizational vision, mission, and goals, and in facilitating and creating content for workshops and seminars. Dr. Atkins’ extensive experience also includes successfully leading city-wide special events, building beautification, and expansion projects. She is passionate about people building and helping organizations create healthy work cultures. Dr. Atkins holds a Doctor of Strategic Leadership degree from the School of Business and Leadership – Regent University, with a concentration in Strategic Foresight. In addition, she has a Master of Psychology – Industrial Organizational Psychology from Northcentral University and various certifications from Christian Coach Institute, University of Pennsylvania, HCI, Coaching & Applied Positive Psychology Institute (CaPP), Light University, and the University of Oxford-Säid School of Business. Dr. Atkins is a elected community member of the 300 Moral Leaders Organization (Memphis, TN) and serves as an executive board member of Intimate Altars nonprofit organization and volunteers her time to various organizations. As an Executive Coach and I/O psychologist, she has helped senior leaders and groups with self-awareness, well-being, goal-setting, and professional/leadership development, using coaching principles based on positive psychology, neuroscience, and positive intelligence. She has also consulted and trained within various industries, including local government, nonprofits, and public organizations, providing guidance in strategic foresight. She offers psychometric assessment tools such as VIA Strengths Test, DISC Personality Test, Organizational Cultural Assessment Instrument (OCAI), and 360º Assessments.

Dr. Atkins is a keynote speaker on the topics of leadership, the impact of coaching in the workplace, resilience, positive psychology, and well-being among other topics such as talent selection, succession planning, cultural assessments, creating a coaching culture, employee engagement, organizational design, strategic workforce planning, leadership development, strategic planning and strategic foresight. She offers psychometric assessment tools such as VIA Strengths Test, DISC Personality Test, Organizational Cultural Assessment Instrument (OCAI), and 360º Assessments. Dr. Atkins is proficient in survey design, implementation, and monitoring and has conducted qualitative and quantitative data collection and analyses to evaluate program effectiveness, well-being in the workplace, and healthy work cultures resulting in greater productivity and organizational growth. Dr. Atkins has provided cultural assessments to organizations to help identify key areas of improvement and create strategic plans to strengthen the mission and vision of the organization. In addition, she has also provided change management, and process improvement principles to individuals and organizations.

The Memphis, Tennessee Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) was chartered in March of 1999 as a part of Region 14.  Region 14 consists of 19,852 members in South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Jamaica, and Trinidad/Tobago.  There are 24 chapters, ranging in size from 120 (Savannah and Columbus, GA Chapters) to 4864 (Atlanta Chapter).  Since the original charter date, the chapter has rapidly grown to a membership of over 500. Remember, all chapters exist for only one reason, to serve YOU, our members.

Membership

To become a member of the PMI Memphis Chapter, you must first become a member of the Project Management Institute. As you complete the primary PMI membership forms, you will be asked if you wish to join a local chapter; select the Memphis Chapter on the form (Note: there is a $20.00 fee to join the Chapter).
