Amanda Maness Hamilton, PMP, is a project manager, data analyst, geoscientist, and a life-long learner. She is currently serving as VP of Membership for Project Management Institute Memphis Chapter, Chairwoman of Mid-South Employer Resource Network Inc., and opened Uplift Analytics & Consulting in 2023.
As a consultant, it was her dream to help small & medium sized organizations to be better data informed and improve operational efficiency with the use of technology & software. Being a scientist at heart and driven by her analytical mind, she leverages data and technology into all her efforts, but she is a collaborator first and makes sure to take her team on the journey.
Amanda is a proud graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy and former U.S. Merchant Marine. She then received her M.S. in Marine Geology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she also led offshore research expeditions for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Undersea Research Center (NOAA NURC).
Her career includes operations management and project management of undersea fiber optic cable survey & system design, offshore geologic and geophysical projects in oil & gas exploration, R&D projects, and technology development.
Amanda is a native Memphian, but her former roles have gifted her the opportunity to lead projects in 12 countries and all oceans in-between. She moved back home to be closer to family but sneaks off to surf and scuba dive whenever possible.
