About the Speaker
Catherine Knabb is currently the Immediate Past President of PMI Memphis. After nearly 30 years in corporate jobs across poultry, foods, payments, and hospital industries, she started her own business as a Certified Franchise Consultant (Knabb Consulting) and invested as a franchisee of a business networking group brand (Network in Action Memphis).
Have you ever looked at the franchise business and wondered what it takes to own something like that? Well, researching options for franchise ownership is a Project. There are scope elements, strategies, requirements, risk mitigations, schedules, cost management, funding, and the finished product… clarity about what to do in the end. Executing the decision and standing up the franchise is an entirely different project. In this Lunch & Learn, Catherine Knabb will cover steps that are common to franchise research, including those that are important to reduce the risk of an ill-advised decision or a poorly selected brand. She will also provide some ways that you can limit being targeted by those folks creating phone lists of prospects for franchise brands and brokers.
