March 28, 2024 Lunch and Learn

March 28 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Register

Donna Fitzgerald will present on Mental Models for successful project delivery and how to take action. Where you will fit it and you will take away a tool set to approach problems.

Mental models are a simple way to make complex situations easier to understand. For example, having a mental model that puts all the potential areas of disorder into a spider diagram ensures everyone on the team is on the “same page” from the start. We’ll also cover a variety of techniques that will help keep the project on track such as featuring, reframing the present through the past, and using the Cynefin model to identify problems and to frame acceptable solutions for your stakeholders. We’ll conclude with a technique (the value cube) that improves stakeholder engagement during the project.

In this Lunch & Learn, you’ll learn:

  1. Reframing the present through the past

  2. The Cynefin model to identify problems.
