🌸 Spring Forward: Leading Technology Transformation

Spring is a season of growth and the perfect time to reset how we lead technology initiatives. PMI Memphis is excited to host Director Calandra Cleveland, an accomplished technology executive who has led large-scale cloud, DevOps, and enterprise system transformations delivering measurable business outcomes.

This session will explore how project and program leaders can move organizations forward by aligning technology strategy with execution, building resilient systems, and empowering high-performing teams. Director Cleveland will share lessons learned from real enterprise transformations and how leaders can prepare for what’s next in IT.

🗣️ Presenter: Director Calandra Cleveland

Director Calandra Cleveland is currently a Director of Information Technology (IT), Customer Satisfaction at AutoZone, the largest retailer of aftermarket automotive parts and accessories in the United States with over 7000 stores globally. Her responsibilities include the oversight of the store software release process and the modernization of legacy business applications. She partners with business leaders in the areas of Store Operations, Operations Process Improvement, Store Development/Real Estate, Loss Prevention, Legal, Marketing and Enterprise Communications.

Calandra is a leader that brings a diverse technology background that ranges from data center operations to IT project management. She specializes in technology modernization and has led business transformative projects at multiple Fortune 500 companies. She has won multiple awards including recently being presented the Inaugural MemTech Trailblazer award by SIM Memphis and Memphis Magazine. Prior to joining AutoZone, she held IT leadership roles at FedEx and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Calandra holds a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in software development

and Artificial Intelligence (AI) from the University of Memphis where she serves on the Computer Science Department Advisory Board. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, serving on multiple non-profit boards.

 

Fun Facts about Director Calandra Cleveland:

Calandra loves to travel with her husband of 21 years, Joseph. She has three children: 19-year-old Cadence and 14-year-old twins Amber and Justin. Cadence is a sophomore at LSU studying Digital Art & Engineering. Amber is an energetic volleyball player, while her twin Justin is an accomplished violinist.
