The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) is a credential offered by the Project Management institute (PMI). PMI is a globally recognized organization offering certifications that are competitive differentiators!
PMI’s CAPM® is an entry-level certification that will jump start your project management journey! The CAPM® gets you the recognition you deserve and the credibility you need. CAPM® certification is a mark of excellence – in any location, in any industry!
However, getting the certification requires that you ‘sit’ for the exam and that you successfully ‘pass’ the exam. Yes, an exam is required to earn the CAPM® certification!!!

The CAPM® Certification Examination
The certification exam will encompass 4 domain areas:
- Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts
- Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies
- Agile Frameworks/Methodologies
- Business Analysis Frameworks
Applicants must pass a three-hour, 150 question, knowledge-based examination with a 10-minute break to be completed in 3 hours. It can be taken at a test center or as an online proctored exam.
If you are planning to take the CAPM® examination, this course gives you the knowledge you need to pass the exam. It covers CAPM®® critical information on project management theory, principles, techniques, and methods. We use the pre-assessment level-set to baseline your current state. The post-assessment measures readiness to sit for the exam. Once you are ready to sit for the exam, PMI Memphis will help you complete the registration application as part of the course exam prep. This way, upon completion of the course, you have all you need to sit for the exam. In addition, we provide refresher training by allowing you to ‘audit’ the next course session if needed. You have opportunities to practice for the exam by using the practical tests included with this course
Here’s what you need to know:
- On-Site Instructor(s): PMI Memphis TN Chapter will provide.
- Boot Camp Session: Three (3) Days; next course: November 20, 21, 22, 2024
- Time: 0900 am – 430pm (30 minute lunch daily)
- Length of course: 23 contact hours over 3 days that can be used to satisfy the education requirement to sit for the exam.
- Cost: $1,075 /per person
