Focus On Agile: 
Let’s Talk About Scrum
– “All you wanted to know about agile…but were afraid to ask”

Join us May 8th for an insightful exploration into Scrum and Agile. 

Presenters: Lloyd Martin & John Williams With a robust partnership spanning over 10 years, Lloyd and John bring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience in Agile. Their dynamic presentation will illuminate many aspects of Scrum, offering attendees actionable insights.


Lloyd Martin PMI-ACP, MBA, SPC
Lloyd Martin is a seasoned project manager with over 20 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale software solutions. He possesses a deep expertise in Enterprise Agile Transformation, Business Agility, and software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Waterfall, Lean). He has a proven track record of driving successful program execution through strategic planning, people-first team management, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

John Williams, PMP, SPC
John Williams is an accomplished technology leader with over 15 years of experience in Fortune 500 enterprises leading large-scale programs and significant culture shifts through the advocacy and adoption of Lean Agile. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, program/project management, continuous improvement, and change management. Recognized for relentless perseverance to solve business challenges, build high-performing global and cross-functional teams, and lead programs within scope and timeframes. Strong communicator effective at aligning the vision, mobilizing teams, capturing consensus, and communicating across senior leadership, stakeholder, business, and IT teams.
John recently launched his company, After Hours Agility (AHA), that provides flexible agile coaching and training to enterprises.

The Memphis, Tennessee Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) was chartered in March of 1999 as a part of Region 14.  Region 14 consists of 19,852 members in South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Jamaica, and Trinidad/Tobago.  There are 24 chapters, ranging in size from 120 (Savannah and Columbus, GA Chapters) to 4864 (Atlanta Chapter).  Since the original charter date, the chapter has rapidly grown to a membership of over 500. Remember, all chapters exist for only one reason, to serve YOU, our members.

Membership

To become a member of the PMI Memphis Chapter, you must first become a member of the Project Management Institute. As you complete the primary PMI membership forms, you will be asked if you wish to join a local chapter; select the Memphis Chapter on the form (Note: there is a $20.00 fee to join the Chapter).
