At 30% of the PMI-CP exam, Stakeholder Engagement is the single largest domain — and for good reason. The workshop covers four core competencies drawn directly from PMI's Construction Professional standards: communication planning, conflict resolution, expectation alignment, and maintaining positive relationships across the full project lifecycle — from owner and architect to subcontractors, regulators, and community stakeholders. Duvoll Education brings this content to life with real construction scenarios from the Mid-South, including Memphis infrastructure projects, commercial builds, healthcare facilities, and government contracts where stakeholder dynamics are complex and the stakes are high. This workshop can be taken as a standalone course or as part of the full PMI-CP Boot Camp pathway. Already experienced in other domains? Take only the domains you need.
Identify, Engage, and Align Every Stakeholder on Your Project.
This workshop covers three core modules: Stakeholder Identification and Analysis, Engagement Strategy, Communication and Conflict Resolution, and Exam Alignment and Application. In Module 1, you will learn how to identify all project stakeholders — owners, architects, contractors, subcontractors, regulators, and community — using registers, maps, and influence grids. You will analyze stakeholder power, expectations, and engagement levels across project phases, and develop prioritization strategies for complex construction environments, including the specific dynamics of public, private, and government stakeholders in Memphis-area projects. Module 2 moves into engagement planning, communication frameworks, and conflict resolution techniques that work in the field.
Taught in Memphis by Duvoll Education's PMI-credentialed faculty, every concept is grounded in real construction experience and aligned directly to what appears on the PMI-CP exam.
This course provides 14 PMI Professional Development Units (PDUs), PMI-aligned study materials for Domain III, and practice questions aligned to the exam domain. A Certificate of Completion from Duvoll Education is included. Counts toward full PMI-CP certification eligibility.
Build Your PMI-CP One Domain at a Time.
The PMI-CP certification is the only internationally recognized credential focused specifically on construction project management. Domain III — Stakeholder Engagement — is the highest-weighted domain on the exam and one of the most transferable leadership skills you can develop as a construction professional. Complete it as a standalone workshop or combine it with other domains on your path to full PMI-CP certification.
Requirements are straightforward: 3 years of experience in construction or built environment projects within the past 10 years. No college degree required.
