It's okay to Pause. PMI Memphis knows the current coronavirus protocols have affected us all in many different ways. We recognize the importance of community in a time like this.
If you are needing some community during this time, we invite you to join us in a virtual happy hour during which you can grab a drink or a snack and connect with some of your PMI Peers. This will be an informal time in which we can share funny stories or uplifting ways many of you are making teamwork happen during a crisis.
For now, we are limiting this Members-Only event to 25 spaces. We only require that you register and be ready to take a much needed Pause.
Instructions to join via Zoom will be emailed to all registrants prio to the virtual meeting so you can join from wherever you happen to be. Stay well, and we will see you May 8.
At PMI Memphis, we believe we provide the best PMP Certification Prep class in the Mid-South in terms of Value, Quality of Instruction, Student Materials, and Support. Our students benefit from the passioned instruction from live instructors and learn from fantastic student materials published by Velociteach. This series will be our first to be taught entirely via web conferencing due to the COVID-19 shutdown. Our students will enjoy the teaching of 9 instructors and will be supported by 3 facilitators to ensure their class experience is a great one.
The next class will start June 9, 2020.
PMI Memphis is responding rapidly by the ever-changing dynamic posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. We have switch our chapter meetings and PMP Certification Prep offerings to web-conference format to ensure that attendees will have less risk of exposure to the virus. Meeting connection details will be sent to each registrant before the meeting. Chapter meeting fees are FREE for PMI Memphis members and $5.00 for non-members.
Sonja Mustiful, MS, ACC, CDTLF will be the guest speaker for the April 8 chapter meeting. She will present the topic: Yes, I Trust You-You Go First. Trust in a project management team typically serves two purposes. It allows you to focus on what you need to do without worrying about your security or safety. Trust, therefore, creates a distraction-free environment, which also has a positive impact on the general emotional and mental well-being of the people. Sonja will guide those in attendance through an interactive session defining what TRUST is and what it isn't.
