    October 2012

PMI Award for Community of Practice Webinar Excellence.
Stewart White lives in the Memphis area.  It is with great pleasure we announce that Stewart won the inaugural Community of Practice Award for Webinar Excellence.   He was recognized at the PMI North America LIM held in October 2012.

The purpose of this award is to recognize and honor a particularly significant achievement or performance in a Webinar or a Webinar Series advancing project management concepts, techniques, practices or theories by a Community of Practice. Global Diversity complied to stringent criteria. The community followed the terms and conditions outlined in PMI’s Terms of Use Policy.

    Award Criteria:

Global Diversity CoP developed and executed Webinars led by a Camille Deane, PMP, Service Delivery Lead and team, supported and guided by the Community Council. Specifically, the nomination packet contained proof of information that the following criteria were satisfied:

    • The application showed knowledge sharing of a particular community program, portfolio or project management principles

    • Documentation was provided to show the principles of program, portfolio or project management learning objectives were satisfied

    • The contribution or knowledge contributed to the community improved member engagement and benefited the community

    • From a design perspective, both the technical and content needs of the audience were met

    • Creation of the Webinar content was completed in support of the community’s strategic and operational plan

    • The community provided evidence of subscriber satisfaction including surveys, comments posted or other reliable metrics. Subscriber satisfaction measurements indicated a majority of subscribers attending found the Webinar content valuable, interesting and note-worthy

Only one PMI Award for Community of Practice Webinar Excellence will be awarded annually. Each nominated entry is evaluated and ranked against other nominees.

This is the first year the awards have been initiated by PMI, and Global Diversity CoP Council is delighted to be crowned. This wouldn't have been possible without Global Diversity membership support and encouragement.
